About the Principal


J. Bruce Camino holds both a B.A. and M.A. Architecture from the University of Washington. He also completed post graduate studies at Harvard University. His subsequent training and experience were achieved in various management positions for nationally known firms such as GPRA Architects, Planners and Engineers, and Knowles Associates Architects. One of his mentors, George Knowles, was a former pupil and employee of famed architect Frank Lloyd Wright.

Through Development One Inc., which he founded in 1987, Mr. Camino has specialized in the design of residential, recreational, golf clubhouses, interiors, as well as varied government projects. His innovative methods of architectural practice are often enhanced by his private pilot skills, which allow him and his design team to travel to and from project sites easily and cost-effectively. His multi-cultural background and keen interest in the international design fie

ld have taken him to several assignments in Asia and Latin America.

He is an active supporter and driving force in the development of the architecture profession, as evidenced by his membership in the, national NCARB licensure, and his frequent public speaking engagements on architectural topics. Mr. Camino has been featured in articles from the Los Angeles Times and Orange County Register newspapers regarding his design work in Asia and his methods of architectural business diversification.
